Success with AdSense - The Three Top Strategies

By: Marge Reed

More and more people are hopping aboard the internet marketing field as time goes by. A big reason for such an avalanche in numbers is AdSense, Google's absolutely profitable pay per click (PPC) program that allows webmasters from all over the world to publish contextually relevant ads on their web pages, and earn some money every time a user clicks on a displayed advertisement.
These days, people who previously condemned the internet for whatever reason have learned how to publish informative websites that attract ads which are amazingly related to their content. For this reason, visitors are more likely to click on these ads, and the webmasters can start profiting from the same.
However, not all webmasters can be triumphant with PPC programs like Google AdSense.
Many webmasters operators fail to satisfy the three vital components of Google AdSense success. What are these components?
1. Cost per click (CPC). With AdSense being a pay per click program, your profit would naturally be based on the price of every click. Being able to find keywords that garner high costs from AdSense would most definitely enable you to earn more from this undertaking. You can get 100 clicks every 24 hours, for example, but if each ad only pays a cent per click, you'd only have $1 to show for the day. However, if an ad pays, for example fifteen cents, we'll have an easy $15 for a 24 hour period, which is magnificent for one website. Now, just think, if an ad commands a dollar or two per click. Now we're talking, right? Discovering CPC isn't really simple. The best method is to sign up as an advertiser over at www.google.com/adwords. Study the bids for particular keywords that come to mind. This will provide an idea how much a click of their ads would pay.
2. Traffic. Visitors are the life of any internet venture, AdSense-enrolled websites not excluded. You have to generate traffic - a gargantuan volume of visitors if possible - to generate some clicks - a monstrous amount of clicks. You can use tried and tested internet marketing techniques for this, naturally.
3. Click through rate (CTR). The CTR pertains to the percentage of people who get to click on the ads that appear on your web pages. You want to aim for a high CTR to earn via AdSense. A high CTR can be achieved by inviting the right ads per web page - which can be accomplished with dedicated content and proper keyword optimization - and the optimal placement of the ads on the structure of each web page.
